We’re please to announce the line-up for the Doc Mulligan Festival Day, Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Miller Center! The event is open to the public. Admission is $10/adult and $5/student, cash only payable at the door.
Middle School Festival begins 1:00 pm. Participating schools include Wilson Southern, Fleetwood, Tulpehocken and Muhlenberg.
High School Festival begins at 6:00 pm. Participating school include Governor Mifflin, The Hill School, Reading, Pottstown, Tulpehocken and Manheim Township.
The High School Festival will include an encore performance by the 2018 Get JazzED Festival winner Wilson High School under the direction of R. David Cooper.
Both festivals will feature Special Guest Trading Four, a quartet featuring four Berks County young musicians Sashank Sridhar/tenor sax, Joel Evans/percussion, Isaiah Nygard/piano and Cormick Costello/bass.
Adjudicators for both events are Marko Marcinko/percussion, Roger Morgan/brass and Albert Rivera/woodwinds.
Join us Sunday April 7, 2019 at the Miller Center for the Arts for Doc Mulligan Get JazzED Day featuring two big band festivals with the Middle School starting at 1:00 pm and the High School at 6:00 pm. Both events are open to the public. $10 cash admission for the day paid at the door.

Monday, April 8, 2019: 7:00 pm, Inn at Reading. Featuring Brian Bromberg/ percussion, Gerald Veasley/bass and Marty Mellinger/piano. Also appearing are Albert Rivera/saxophone and Bobby Lyle/keyboards.
